Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, a Nigerian American pro basketball player with the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, after which she was drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall pick of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2, 1997 to Yolanda Ogunbowale as well as Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother. Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years old. She participated in three games of the varsity league while she studied there. Ogunbowale, owing to her remarkable skills and abilities, led her school to stunning victory several times. She compiled her High School career by registering 73 career games and has a total of 1 477 and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale played in the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships 2014 FIBA World U17 Championships 2013 3x3 Championships of FIBA for U18 in which she was awarded gold medals. In July 2014 she was chosen to be a member of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also selected as a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team following her debut year as a collegiate player. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for hitting multiple important shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale's basketball career is starting off well and will keep going on the same path.
